Building on the success of our primary BIG SING Days, MGOW, in partnership with the Irish Youth Choir and Association of Irish Choirs seeks to develop choral partnerships with Offaly & Westmeath secondary schools each academic year.  

SingOUT! gives secondary schools with choirs and without, a chance to take part in a range of workshops culminating in a group sing - all under the expert guidance of Patrick Barrett, conductor of the Irish Youth Training Choir.

Getting involved is easy!

Participating schools nominate a lead teacher who will prepare a shared repertoire through a combination of school based rehearsals.  We'd like to support your preparations by visiting and leading a singing workshop...or even 2!    

Singers & lead teachers will come together with Patrick Barrett and members of the MGOW musician team and the backline band for the Secondary SingOUT!
